There are lots of benefits to being a member of the club, regardless of how proficient you are with PC's. For just $10 a year, you have complete access to our Computer Room in Lewis Pointe (not one of the regular computer labs) and in there we have lots of special software, hardware, and periodicals. Lots to learn, but it can be a lot of fun.
Would you like to know how to use and enjoy your computer better? Consider Joining the Ann’s Choice Computer Club (AC3). AC3 has monthly meetings where they discuss the ever changing world of computing as well as practical methods for making it easier to use and understand. As part of the April presentation, we mentioned two software products we all should have and use.
One is CleanUp 4.5.2 - you can download this product for free. When you run it, it will clean up all the temp files on your hard drive. The address is https://cleanup.en.uptodown.com/windows
Also, it is recomended that you use Malwarebytes often to remove malware and viruses from your computer. It is free and can be obtained at https://www.malwarebytes.com/
We have the capability to print large posters using a special printer we have in our AC3 computer room (see below). Anyone can use it - we will do the work of printing, you design your poster.
Because of the large amount of ink required to print these posters, there is a charge of $3.00 per linear foot.
We can print 36 inch wide posters and virtually any length. So a 3 foot by 5 foot poster woul cost $15.00.
Contact any board member to begin.
