The following letter was submitted to the web site by a fellow resident who asked that we post it.

Dear Residents of Ann’s Choice:

I usually stay quiet about sensitive issues like “gun control”, but the recent massacre at a Florida high school has affected me to the core and I cannot contain my anger toward our ineffective congress and our presidential office.

Our elected representatives, many of whom, have received substantial donations from the NRA are doing nothing (zero) to halt the sale of assault weapons.

I think that we as responsible seniors ought to have a say in legislation that directly affects our grandchildren and great grandchildren. We need to tell our elected representatives that we are tired of their inaction and need laws that will stop

the sale of automatic and semi-automatic rifles with large magazines.

I am putting my representatives on notice that I plan to vote them out of office, if they continue to support the NRA’s need to allow AR-15”s (assault weapon) purchased by the general public.  There is no need for a rifle which shoots 500 bullets a minute.

Anything you can do to spread the word would be welcomed, especially those families directly affected in Florida.  I have contacted a few newspaper editors and various TV stations to plead our case and the response has been gratifying.

Here are a few representatives and their contact information:

Sen. Pat Toomey

Sen. Bob Casey

Brian Fitzpatrick

Thank you again. I know your comments will help in this important cause.
