General Services Comment Card

IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING!

If you see something that needs fixing, cleanup, or maintenance, anywhere on campus please use this comment card to let us know.  Your email will come right to my desk and I will personally follow up on your request.  Additionally, use the comment card to praise a coworker for a job well done.  If you did not have a great experience with General Services, please let us know that as well.  This should not be used for emergencies or as a request for work to be done in your apartment - see below.

We appreciate your partnership in helping keep Ann’s Choice beautiful!  Thank you.

Joe Carretta, Director of General Services

THIS SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR EMERGENCIES.

ALSO, THIS SHOULD NOT BE USED AS A REQUEST FOR WORK TO BE DONE.  IF YOU NEED WORK TO BE DONE IN YOUR APARTMENT, USE THE LINKS TO YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD JUST BELOW

The General Services Department (GSD) includes Resident Services (transportation, security, communications & housekeeping) and Facilities Management (maintenance, engineering, grounds keeping, project management and apartment refurbishment & re-occupancy).

A significant part of the responsibility of General Services includes the maintenance, repair and upkeep of the interior and exterior of all buildings, plant systems and grounds of our community.  We have approximately 150 committed and dedicated coworkers who work every day to keep Ann’s Choice beautiful and provide our residents with the highest level of service possible.

The task is daunting however.  With…

  • 21 buildings on 100 acres
  • 2,000,000 square feet of space
  • 1500+ apartments
  • Approximately 3000 people on campus (2000 residents, 1000 coworkers)
  • 4000 pieces of mechanical equipment housed in 110 rooms
  • 10,500 light fixtures located in the common areas
  • 400 parking lot lights

Ann’s Choice is more like a small city than a community!  Thus, we value and appreciate the feedback and input from all of those on campus.

IF YOU SEE SOMETHING, SAY SOMETHING!
