                 Did You Know...

Usually presented in triangle shapes close to their hearts, the American flags on display in front of each clubhouse represent a fallen family member of a resident that has served honorably in the US Miitary.  These residents have chosen to honor their loved one by allowing the Ann's Choice Veterans Club to fly the flag given to them at their loved one's funeral on Patriotic Holidays.  In doing so, they honor all of us and the many Veterans from Ann's Choice.

Thank you all for your service and sacrifice.

Message presented with each flag at the Veteran's burial

"On behalf of the President of the United States, the United States Military, and a grateful nation, please accept this flag as a symbol of our appreciation, for your loved one's honorable and faithful service."

COMMUNITY PROJECTS

MEMORIAL FLAGS (those that have been presented to the survivors of veteran's who have been residents of Ann's Choice) are now being displayed on flag display days in front of the club house (weather permitting) for the community in which the veteran lived.  Donation of these flags and donations to purchase the flag poles on which they are displayed are requested.  Contact Rudy Stroh, 215-443-5782.

On all Patriotic Holidays, flags are placed by our veterans along many of the streets and walkways of our campus.
