The Veterans Group’s mission is to provide an opportunity for fellowship, providing information to the members and surviving spouses about veterans benefits and the presenting of programs of military, historic and patriotic content. There is an opportunity to participate in a 50/50 drawing at every meeting. In addition to the monthly programs, the group coordinates with Pastoral Ministries Remembrance Services on Memorial and Veterans Day.
Usually presented in triangle shapes close to their hearts, the American flags on display in front of each clubhouse represent a fallen family member of a resident that has served honorably in the US Miitary. These residents have chosen to honor their loved one by allowing the Ann's Choice Veterans Club to fly the flag given to them at their loved one's funeral on Patriotic Holidays. In doing so, they honor all of us and the many Veterans from Ann's Choice.
Thank you all for your service and sacrifice.
Message presented with each flag at the Veteran's burial
"On behalf of the President of the United States, the United States Military, and a grateful nation, please accept this flag as a symbol of our appreciation, for your loved one's honorable and faithful service."
Created by Richard Shumacher, Transportation Associate

MEMORIAL FLAGS (those that have been presented to the survivors of veteran's who have been residents of Ann's Choice) are now being displayed on flag display days in front of the club house (weather permitting) for the community in which the veteran lived. On all Patriotic Holidays, flags are placed by our veterans along many of the streets and walkways of our campus.
