Neighborhood Two - Liberty

As it turns out, a resident named Elaine learned that the buildings in our second neighborhood were named after signers of the Declaration of Independence, plus the names of our clubhouse being Liberty Commons and also Signatures Restaurant were in tune with that.

The signers were Josiah Bartlett, Carter Braxton, Francis Lewis, Robert Morris, and George Taylor.  Our building names.  Neat, huh.

The first piece below came from resident George Reilly and it is how our buildings came to be named.

Dawson Terrace: from the community’s namesake, Ann Dawson

Montgomery Court: from the adjacent Montgomery County

Westwood Place: from its location being the west side of the first neighborhood

Hampton Ridge: from the adjacent townships of Northampton and Southampton

Park View: from its location overlooking the new Warminster Community Park

Bartlett Run, Lewis Point, Taylor Crossing, Morris Square and Braxton Court are all named for prominent historical figures that signed the Declaration of Independence - see above.

Magnolia Court, Maple Terrace, Ivy Glen, Bayberry Grove and Holly View are named for common flora present in the local area.
