German Club

The German Club meets every 4th Friday at 10.30AM in the |
|
||||||
|
Keystone Multipurpose Room (MPR).
|
|
||||||
|
Everyone is invited to join. German ancestry is not a requirement, |
|||||||
|
even if you are not one of the 60 Million Americans who trace their ancestry to Germany. |
|||||||
|
|
|||||||
|
We meet from September through June. |
|||||||
|
We plan our meetings to learn about German customs, heritage and traditions, etc., via videos, music, and special events. |
|||||||
|
|
|||||||
|
Our highlights of our social activities during the year are: |
|||||||
|
Oktoberfest celebration, Christmas party, Fastnacht celebration, |
|||||||
|
a pizza party and our picnic with German Food specialties. |
|||||||
The German Club discusses the influence of German immigrants on the American Society via lectures and films. Celebrations are held on some German holidays and trips are made to local places of interest and to area German Clubs and Restaurants.
