The Mensa Club is for members of Mensa, the international organization whose members have scored in the 98th percentile on the Mensa test or any other IQ or aptitude test (e.g, SAT). Membership in
the club is restricted to those who are listed in Mensa’s membership directory.
Mensa is a social organization like other Ann’s Choice Clubs for members to make new friends and enjoy themselves. It’s not basically devoted to intellectual pursuits. Activities
include meals at ACH restaurants and in-person and Zoom recreational get-togethers. Significant others may accompany members.
People may attend meetings and participate in many activities if they’re actively applying for Mensa membership (by reactivating old memberships, submitting old test scores, or
scheduling a Mensa test). Testing organizations such as the College Board save old test scores (even going back to your high school days), such as the SAT or ACT, and sell them for a nominal fee.
Note that Mensa accepts only aptitude test scores and not subject matter achievement scores.
Website for details (e.g., getting old test scores): American Mensa at
https://www.us.mensa.org (or google “American Mensa”). Club members can also participate in the activities of Delaware Valley Mensa:
